| In June's issue of Cat Fancy, they have a comic with "Pookie" regarding
the same Mark Twain saying. In the first frame, it shows Pookie
reading the quote and the second frame, she has her head turned
and she's smiling. Anyone else see it?

| Lisa, I'd be glad to. I think it's Pookie, I'll check tonight and

at all (except electronically ofcouse) so tell me a way to do it,
address, etc. (do you guys have inter-office envelopes?)

BTW I think that Mark Twain "rented" the kittens when
he vacationed or travelled. That way they already had a
loving home to return to when he left the area.

Actually, it is a point-to-point connection; should HRH pick it up, it
will ring at Stately Pussycat Manner (something like the hotline
connection between The police comm of Gotham City and Batman, and the
similar connection between the White House and the Kremlin). AJP, Esq is
doing fine, thank you. I was on vactation last week and walked into the
kitchen without feeding him almost 100 times so he is currently working
on suing me for willful neglect and cruelty. By the way; Pookie didn't
"convince him" to have it installed. She had it installed as a surprize
gift for him (I'm sure you will be getting the bill any day now).

You should thank HRH for Lil's dainty gift. Lily was really
thrilled with it and asked to use it last night. I told her
it was for show and not for every day use. She was NOT pleased
with that reply. I told her that HRH was much more a lady than
she, and Lil really couldn't understand why I felt that way.
Those that know Lil will understand - I just got her black
motorcycle jacket back from the cleaner - she spilled mustard
on the front when she was chowing those hot dogs at the ball game !
She ain't no lady - she's Tiger Lily !!

| E.T, Thank you for "tea" on Sunday.. I am glad that Lil
liked her "tea cup".. speaking of tea, Last nite I was having
nice cup of tea, along with some Pepperidge Farm cookies..
HRH was " lounging on the chair with me , Happy
was on the sofa, Preschie was siiting on my shoulder..
As all,of you know pepperirdge cookies usually have 4
cokies in a "cupcake type holder.." I had taken one
of the "holder out of bag with 4 cookies in it,
I had just finished the last of them, when Preschie
spotted the empty holder.. she jumped on.. went over
to Happy.. they "conversed" for abit.. then they both returned
\to the chair.. HRH was sound asleep.. well the next thing I know
both of them grabbed the "holder" and were tugging on it.. HRH
awoke went over to break up the "BRAWL.. when the holder "capsized.."
and we had 3 very surprised furfaces.. the cookies I were eating had
powdered suggar on them, and YUP , there was some residue in the cup..
and the 3 of them very covered.. "powdered sugar all over those
little faces.. Preshie and Happy "licked it off". HRH was OUTRAGED..
she was so "upset.. she was hyperventilating.. so Mummy
picked her up.. and we wne to get cleaned .. of course by this time,,
the other two has finished liccking themselves off,, they decided
to "aid" HRH in getting cleaned up,, WELL.. HRH felt
that was "unecessary", QUITE UNNECESSARY,, thank you..
Pookie was furious.. she jumped in the bathtub.. and of course
they jumped in after her,, I picked up
Happy and Preschie and suggested that they go play for awhile,
while I calmed Pookie down.. while continued to wash her face
and paws.. the next thing I know.. she is out of the tub..
and she was "attempting to drag her "portable bath tub out of
the linen closet. so Mummy gave her a bubble bath at 10 pm..
, but she was still "glaring" that Preschie and Happy..
whne I went to bed. I was still laughing this morning..!!!
She was furious, but I must admit , dshe looked so funny
with powdered sugar all over her face and paws,, and Preschie
and Happy,, thought .,.. GEE Mom.. great stuff!!!.. now where is
the rest of that "human treat".. yummy.. Happy was soo
funny.. she was so laidback about the whole thing, and
so was Preschie.. .kinda like OH well.., but I do suspect
that Happy might have been "laughing under her ruff at HRH..

| Why don't I just send you one of the ordering forms from the magazine
itself. I'll put it in one of those inter-office envelopes with
the string......hmmm, can I have your address again?? Meanwhile,
I'll look in the magazine to see if they have any problem shipping
to the UK. Hope not, it's a great magazine and between Cat Fancy
and this file, I have gotten alot of info on illness, etc.

Putting it in the mail today. I'm looking at the order form now
and the prices are 24 issues for $36.00 and 12 issues for $21.97
but below in (ofcourse) small print reads "Canada add $4.00 per
year postage; Other Countries add $8.00 per year. International
Money Order please".
Anyway, it's on the way. It really is a great magazine ;-)

vets but I never thought to order one for myself and after reading
