| if the kitten for you isn't to be found in 415- wait until next month
when there will be the yearly influx of new, unwanted
kittens- offsprings of those unfortunate cats who haven't been
spayed or neutered. The shelters will be full.

| Try the local shelters or the MSPCA. The MSPCA adoption fee is
worth it, as you are getting a kitten/cat that has been checked over
already. Some shelters do a thorough check over,too.
Sometimes that "free" kitten isn't really "FREE". (as I found out!)

| I agree with .3 My Black Thunder was *free* but cost me over $1000
during the first year of her life. I adore my beautiful, adorable,
loving baby but, boy, those vet bills really hurt.
Don't accept any kitten without first having it checked by a vet.
Better still, how about an older * six-months to a year-old kitten*.
They are wonderful.

I have tried a few shelters around where I live and no one seems to
have any right now. They all keep telling me to wait because it is
not "kitten season" but I am just so impatient I can't wait! I want
a kitty now....

I WISHED YOU'D CONSIDER AN OLDER ONE. I have a few boys in my
neighborhood who need a VERY LOVING HOME. They are 10 months old
and some a year old.
I do have a female pregnant and I too will have some in the
neighborhood around to hopefully get placed.
My name is Carol Weston -- 297-5454, please contact me. I would
love to place one of the boys:
(1) Black & White - Stripe: He has a white stripe down his nose.
white chest and paws VERY LOVEABLE.
(1) All Black -- very soft (so isn't Stripe!) Blacky-Boy
(1) All Grey --- Grey-BOY (very cute! 10 months old)
They are FERAL, but I know ill adjust greatly. A kitten introduced
to one of them, will be fun too!! They are very playful and I can
pick them up, hug them, and pat them. Sometimes they come into
my home.
