| | Just to add some.......and to send Thanks too...

I identified the kitty it was LITTLE ONE. She was to be looked at, for
adoption, just last nite. I had Joe (can't spell his last name) come
and look, I was sorry to tell him one was gone. But he looked at the
ones I had, in the dark though and I was able to bring in one, into my
home and he talked with her for awhile and will be coming next week to
feed them and get friendly. He might want to take two, which will be
wonderful! I wanted to share the hope I have now and
to give LITTLE ONE her honoralbe mention.....

| | Carol,
I am very sorry to hear about little one. But there is some
good news there with someone possibly taking two of them. When
I had to find a home for a stray, I found that there was almost
no interest until I took her to the vet, had her checked for
everything, and then had her in the house with me. After that,
I had 4 people who wanted her. I was surprised about this at the
time but I guess it reassures people that the cat really can be
a pet and takes a little of the risk out of adopting it. I can
send you a donation to help get some of the cats
to the vet. I know you are planning on getting some of them spayed
in January. Good luck...I'm sure the kitties appreciate everything
    you are doing for them.

If you can -- the donation will be greatly appreciated. I have one
donation on hold, might use it keeping the strays at the vets, while
they heal after being spayed or towards another female, not sure yet as
to what we want to do. Either way....something will help them heal,
get spayed and taken care of.

Little One has been added to the Silver Lining Memorial.

Have you had any luck calling rescue leagues to find one that will
work with you like Animal Umbrella is doing with me?? Since money
is such a restriction for all of us, help like this is a real
    Godsend.
      Good luck

| | I am so sorry to hear the bad news about Little One.
It is so sad when that kind of thing happens with cats that
somone is taking care of, and have a chance of being adopted.

I have had a few major concerns on my mind, I have your memo on this
printed out for me to call. I plan on calling the Lancaster Humance
Society and/or Framingham. I will see if this can work for me and if I
    can do this also.

Joe Gobbini has decided to adopted 2 or 3 of the strays. He is
presently coming to our home feeding them at lunch or dinner -- which
helps with the food too. Trying to get them to know him and make an
easier transition. Hope his LOVE and PATIENCE will hold out. This has
me up more and keeps things in HOPE. Next week I will try and catch 1
to 3 of other females to be spayed and with Joe's help, this will take
care of possibly 6 females in the neighborhood.

Hoping 1990 will be a "GOOD YEAR" for my
    			strays.

I will let you know if I can work with the Humane Societies.
    Thanks for all the support.
