    Yes, it is a good suggestion.  The only concern may be how to pay for
    the postage of shipping the album all over the USA and Europe to the
    interested feliners.  I'd be glad to send in a photo of Casino & Maui
    and would also like to see everyone else's cats.

    The folks in the FRIENDS conference did something similar and they
    were able to ship the album all over the world with traveling
    noters and friends of noters.  Maybe this would work for us.

    Oh, I don't know... if you allowed E.T. and I to participate, you
    might have to have more than one album!!  The two of us could probably
    fill one album by ourselves.  :^)

    I think its a great idea.  About shipping the book around tho,
    don't use Interoffice.  Since its personal it could get (rightly)
    confiscated and then we'd lose all those wonderful pictures.

    	Definitely a good point.  I have participated in two of the 
    	"notes family albums" and they weren't done through interoffice.
    	It was either US mail or hand delivered between people.

    I think this is a wonderful idea.  I have some great shots of a
    "Halloween Gonezo" and a "Christmas Gonezo".  Unfortunately, Barney and
    Ben don't like to be photographed as much (unless it's "fight time" and
    I've caught them in the act).  
    
    Re -2.  I agree, interoffice mail can be tricky.  The only way I can
    see around this if we do interoffice is to cheat and pack the photo
    album in a DEC Software box.  I had a friend who once tried to ship
    home made chocolate to my husband and he had to go to Northboro and
    pick it up personally.  Not fun.  Sending it US mail, UPS, or through
    DEC travellers is the best bet.

    anywhere else where there are noters - there's at least one in Brazil,
    I'm sure!) :-)
    
    Only joking - the chances of getting an album out here are probably
    fairly slender. Then again...
    
    As an aside, I wonder how many countries are represented in this

    Some where there is a note about trading pix, as opposed to sending them
    to one album.  I have a neat album with many pix in it as a result of that
    note.  I am wondering about resurrecting that idea?  The down side
    is the extra cost of picture copies.  The up side is everyone has an
    album and the chances of the one and only album getting lost aren't
    there.
    

    Our gang will all be in one picture except for Sammie; she doesn't
    even want to be seen with another cat!!  She still thinks she's
    an only cat--she just can't figure out why all of those other cats
    are hanging around.

    Count my girls in too.  I just took a couple of pictures of
    Missy and Brittany over the holidays so it might take a couple of
    weeks to finish the roll and get them developed.
    
    Angela, why don't you pick a specific date to have pictures in by
    before we start sending the album around?  That way we can make
    sure the majority of pictures are there.

    Well, someone just sent me a note from the Equine file, explaining
    how they were organizing their photo album, and it seemed like a 
    very good idea, so i attached it here.... 
    
    I am figuring on one page per person. Figure on a page size of
   8" x 11" (standard size) tho the actual pages will probably be 
   a bit larger. (I will try to get a big one.)

   Send whatever you want that will fit in that amount of space.
   I would like to ask for every one to send a 3" x 5" index card
   containing the following:

   Your node name (so we can connect you with your notes)
   Your real name (some accounts don't match the real name)
   Where you live (town, state/province/area and country)
   Where you work (DEC site) 
   Description of the photos you sent or whatever other info you
   care to include. 

   Two standard size photos, and a 3x5 card will fit nicely on a page,
   but be creative if you want! If you want me to set the page up
   a certain way send a diagram and I'll do my best to arrange it.

   Please send copies/duplicates. The pictures will be traveling
   for quite a while, and I can't promise they will be returned.

   It will probably be faster and safer to send stuff via the 
   Post Office. Send the photos and 3x5 card to:

   Please don't be shy about sending in pictures, even if you
   are a 'read-only' noter.  Whether you have a scraggly alley
    cat or a purebred show cat, or even if you are currently 
    cat-less, please send along a photo...
    
   I will keep two lists:

     1. If you would like to receive the album, send me mail with
        a home/work address. Please get together with other people
        at your DEC site so we don't send the album twice to the same
        place.

     2. If you want to contribute to mailing costs, send me mail,
        I'll get back to you when it's time to send the album out.

    is January 31st, so that'll give everyone a month to get
    a couple of good pictures picked out....
