| | How about one of the kittens Nancy DC just rescued? The colors
sure sound like what your co-worker is looking for.

| | I think that the cats that Nancy and Jack have are a little older
than what he is looking for. This is also their first cat. I think
the semi-feral type kitties are better off with folks that have
a better idea about what they can expect. I have a feral cat who
requires a lot of extra patience on my part. She gets all worked
up if you put a new picture on the wall. But I wouldn't give her
    up for the world.

| | I have a couple of feral kittens. Some almost a year old. Black &
White. There is also a male --- all grey about 6 months old. Yes, you
have to have alot of patience to wait until they get use to you and
your envionment, but I believe it's worth the wait, to save their lives
and enjoy them too. Love comes with patience. I will send him mail,
and keep my fingers crossed, cause I'd love them to have a home, I have
a couple coming to see some TOMORROW at lunch, I think FINALLY, my luch
to save these kittens/cats is turning around.

| | Not to rain on your parade....Byron is looking for a kitten in the
8-10 week age range. They have never had a cat before and probably
wouldn't be a good match for these cats. I don't think it would
work out in the long run. He just recently became "convinced"
that he needed a cat. You have to break people in easy.
I know how you feel. I know from experience how hard it is
to place a feral cat. I know Byron, and he isn't the man for the
job. Now maybe after he gets good at having one cat.....

| | Do they realize how high an energy level a kitten has, and will have
for the next year or two? If not, they might be happier with an
    older cat.

or a persian!!! ;-) I sent Byron a mail message about my black and
white persian kitten. They don't tend to be as active as other
kittens, and definitely don't climb the curtains!!!

Just not sure if he wants to spend the bucks...
