I just read the note about the kitten that was
found all starved under the dumpster. I am glad
she found a home. That reminded me of another
story I heard on the car radio this morning
that started my day pretty well as I drove in
to work. They reported that a Saudi Sheik heard
about the kittens and dogs that go to the humane
society here in the U.S. and get put down if they
can't be placed. He apparently has opened his home
to cats and plans to open a home for homeless kitties
where they will NOT be put down. If this really happens,
I wish him luck. That kind of stuff always makes me
feel hopeful about where we are all going in the world.
Wish there were more like that!

We heard about that out here too. Just hope he plans to spay and
neuter them while he is at it.

Should I ever win megabucks or come into lots of money (somehow), one
of my goals in life is to open a no-kill kitty shelter. I'd buy lots
of land with a big barn that could be converted to a "cat house" and
take all the homeless kitties possible. As for vet bills, I'll make
sure my kid grows up to be a vet so I can get free care!!
