| | Yes, this is normal. It will likely take several weeks for things to
settle down. (As a side note, I introduced Little Bit into my
household some time ago, to much hissing and commotion. Things have
been slowly settling down, and the night before last, I saw Sweetie
    grooming Little Bit. Yeah!

| | Boy! No hissing or growling!!!!! What's your secret :-)

Sounds perfectly normal to me! I say just sit back and enjoy
the kitten capers. They'll probably continue to be little
whirlwinds of energy til after their 1st birthdays. Of course,
Mao (age 10) still races around, crabs and runs up and down the
cat tree at full speed! So some of them never outgrow it.

re: introducing your new kitten - Don't fret. If they're not
hissing and growling then I'd say you did great.

	Re: .0
Thats perfectly normal! When I got Bandit, T.K. was two months
older. At first it seemed like T.K. was beating the little guy
up but then I realized that Bandit was quite happy and instigated
	much of the rough play/
They are just playing. My two are two years old now and still
have these battles. Now they are even rougher. Sometimes, one
will attact the other and they will smash into a wall. The funniest
thing is to see T.K. sitting back on his haunches, front paws in
the air, ears laid back, delicately slapping Bandit. Bandit is
so fat that he generally fights on his back. I guess its too much
of an effort for him to stand up and fight like a man! The only
noise I hear when these two fight is Bandit panting. Sometimes
T.K. will be washing Bandits neck or ears and suddenly get the
urge to bite! What a brat!

| | Sounds pretty normal to me. I have a couple kittens who were
rasied together, and they still go at it several times a day. Lots
of hissing and scratching sometimes, other times just quitly bashing
each other and knocking over tables, stands, trash bins, etc. A
quiet little war. I shouldn't worry, if I were you.

| | Not to worry. Our two still go at it daily. It sounds like
a freight train going through the house. There are midair
collisions, some squawking, some ears laid back but no injuries.
I think they rather enjoy it all !!

| | Sounds like my house ;-) !! Niniane and Charm play "kitty
night at the wrestling matches" and Niniane and Dream chase
each other all around the house. There is the occasional
"leaky cat", and Dream sometimes doesn't know when to quit,
but Niniane is such a little tease! She stares right at Dream and
I can hear her saying, "betcha can't get me, betcha can't get me."
And when Dream finally gives in, Niniane runs right over to me,
wailing away, "Meow Mom! She's chasing me!" "Meow, meow! Make
    her stop!"

Humph! And my girlfriend thinks *she's* got it bad with a
    two-legged two year old! ;-)

Thanks for the replies, folks. Over the weekend, Anne and I sort of
figured out that the guys were just having fun, even though it seemed
like a kind of 'fun' with which I was unfamiliar. The guys sleep
together now, and periodically wash one another (with the
aforementioned sudden urge to bite! *sneaky!*)

    Thanks again,
    Anne, David, Cuda, and Judge

Our 14 year old Siamese has lost 2 unnecessary pounds, regained her girlish
figure, and gotten a 100% stamp of approval since The Youngster (Hannah)
joined the family - best exercise in the world for both of them....and, yes,
two years or so later, they are still chasing, hissing, yowling, and raising
H*ll at least once a day - but you quickly notice that Both cats start it,
so noone is getting beat up. I only complain when one cat tears across
my head at 2:00 in the morning...8^}
