    I think that if anyone has read my file they will know that
    I just "enlarge"the story's of my cats antics,some a bit close to
    the mark but always humane.
    
    The story I'm going to put in is'nt a story,its true and and I found
    that when I heard it on the news I was sickened and extreamley angry.
    
    The reason that its being shown is two-fold. 1st I want to make
    people aware of just how low some people can go,and secondly to
    make everone aware,the likes of me who let their cats out all the
    time of the risks that we run,apart from the ones we already knowabout.
    
    If you are offened by it,then please delete  it Mr/miss/mrs
    Mod.I'm not trying to shock or upset anyone.
    
    
    
    Last week,a women was walking her dog around a lake in
    Hampshire-south west England,when she saw the floating body of a
    dead cat.
    
    What made it even worse was the fact that it had been skinned.
    
    She reported it to the RSPCA-Royal Society for the protection of
    animals-and they came to the lake.
    
    Why they did the next thing I dont know,but they dragged the lake.
    
    What they found was the bodies of dozens of cats,all skinned and
    dumped.
    
    We had been hearing stories of cats going missing around our area,but
    not knowing any of the people thought it was a rumour until now.
    
    The reason for the cats being skinnned was for the skins to be sent
    abroad to be made into furs.
    
    And they say we are a nation of animal lovers?
    
    I hope whoever did it rots in hell.

    Oh my lord!  I can agree that it is sickening that anyone could do
    such a thing.
    
    I can't even find the words to describe how I feel here.  Me, who is
    usually not at a loss for words am speechless!
    
    I hope whoever does this pays for it, dearly.  And I hope whoever
    owns the coat pays dearly too.

      As sickening as it sounds, this isn't uncommon!! In fact, many dogs
    and cats that are kidnapped in the U.S. are used as furs. There is NO
    WAY you could tell the difference between a dog-fur or cat-fur
    coat/gloves, etc and the "real" animal they are supposed to be from.
    This is simply another reason why we should continue to band together
    and stop the wearing of furs! Modern technology has developed methos=ds
    of processing these furs so they resemble many other furs.

    Someone had mentioned this issue to me once when disgussing furs.
    I dismissed it as being too bizare.......wrong!  Unfortunately,
    we have become a money hungry world.  Missuse of animals, people,
    the environment is not considered where money is concerned.  I 
    never cease to be amazed at the lengths of this missuse.  We can
    ban those activities that cause us disgust, but unfortunately there
    are tooooooo many people who are not affected, and therefore support
    the continued abuse.  I guess prayers for changes in attitudes are
    in order.

    Actually, I think the perpertrators should be skinned themselves and
    then left to *rot in hell*.
