Hi..I am placing this note for a friend who regrets to say that
    she must give up "Kitty-man".

Kitty-man is a short haired gray and white very playful (loves to
play with the caps to milk containers) 2 year old male cat. He
has been neutered and she also had him declawed.

He belongs to Lori Irvine who lives in Worcester. She doesn't want
to give him to a shelter but if she cant find him a good home
that is what is going to happen. Kitty-man come's with his toys
    and his litterbox.

If you are interested in giving this cat a good home please call
Lori at her home at (508)753-0775 and leave a message on the
answering machine. Please tell her that you saw this note that
    Caroline put in.

Kitty-man, Lori and I thank you!

| 2524.2 | WHY CUT THEIR TOES OFF??? | AIMHI::LLEBLANC | Tue Jun 06 1989 15:04 | 6 | |
| My question is WHY do people have their cats declawed and then give
them away??? If your not going to make a committment to a kitty, at
LEAST give him a chance to defend himself...

Amputating the ends of their toes is bad enough but to cast them aside
is such a cruel thing to do to an animal...

| re: .2 - there are other notes about declawing. I was happy to
learn that there are at least two alternate methods to the
operation where they essentially amputate the end of the toe.

And casting any animal aside can be pretty cruel - declawed or not.
