My mother was operated on last week to repair a broken ankle. She
came home Friday afternoon with a rather large cast on her leg.
She was coming out of the bathroom and Pina looked at her leg and
immediately she went into attack mode. Fur straight up, tail large
as a feather duster and all hunched up ready to protect my mother
form the thing on her leg. It was so funny. My mother talked to
her and calmed her down.

Gee, my Honey did that to me when I came home in a cast! He did get
used to it and he even found it to be a nice scratching post......

Love it! Tarot had to wear a cast when he badly cut one of his
pads. Isis went barmy when we got him home, leaped sideways doing
the fluffball act. Tarot finally got so mad he dotted her one with
the cast after which she really took umbrage and retired to the
top of the fridge.
They're so funny.
