Did anybody catch the contest for the FATTEST CAT? I just caught
a minute of it on the news. They showed the 5 fattest cats and
the winner. They all had fat owners too and the guy on the news
commented about it.
Doesn't it seem kind of cruel to let your cat get that fat? I don't
know if they over fed them on purpose to help win the contest (I'm
sure they were already fat, but towards the contest were they fed
even more?) or if they just didn't care about the cats health and
let them get that way and then decided to enter them into a contest.
I'm not a cat expert at all. Chewy is the 4th cat that I have
owned. All of them, just plain old lovable muts. Even with
my inexperience I would think that these cat's health would be
in danger.
The cat who took 1st place was 25lbs. What a monster. Looked more
like a small dog. Chewy is only about 6 or 7 lbs and is 1 1/2 years
old.
