A month ago, my 14-year-old part-Manx died, and my wife and I would
like to get another Manx. We'd prefer a kitten, but might take
a young cat, and would be perfectly happy with a mixed breed, not
necessarily a show-quality Rumpy. Any leads would be appreciated.

Call around to the shelters. Maybe one of them will get one in.
Our Bumpy-tail came from Boston animal shelter behind Angell Memorial.
She has the body-type of a manx and 1/2 tail. The bone curls up
on the end so I know she was born that way. I believe she's part
Manx.

Well, I have a friend who has a Manx mix who just gave birth to
a mixed litter of five. I believe 2-3 of them are short-tailed.
I can get more information for you if you're interested (kittens
were born about 3 weeks ago).
Problem is, we're in Houston (Texas, that is). Interested?
