There is *no* clinical proof that the garlic/yeast supplement works
against fleas, but it does condition the skin and coat well. It
turns out that fleas do not really stay on healthy skin...This by
no means means that if your pets have fleas they are unhealty...but
the brewers yeast is the highest form of vitamin B and garlic keeps
the intestines clean...if the proteins are high and bacteria low,
then the skin is tip top!

Regualr shampoos with soap made for cats can also help!

Beat them nasty fleas with a stick! :-)

Check notes 232 and 566. If the information is not in the base note,
I know that's it's in the replies. I couldn't find the note that
referenced the brewer's yeast/garlic tablets brand name. You may
also want to peruse note 1580. It tells how to rid your room of
fleas using water and soap in a paper plate or maybe its a shallow
    pan.

I tried the brewer's yeast/garlic tablets this summer with my two
kitties and our new puppy and I must admit, it worked. Last year
we got *flea infestation* to the max. This year alot of people
were complaining that their animals got attacked badly but ours
weren't bothered in the least. (Just one or two were spotted).

I found the tablets at Erikson's Grain Mill in Acton, MA but I have
seen them at some local pet stores too.

    Good luck!
