    	T.K. has this rather cute habit of dipping his paw into
    	your drink when you are not looking and then taking it
    	out and licking it off.  Then he dips it back in for more!
    	He mainly prefers water.  In fact, he hates soda!
    
    	Well, this morning, as I was making breakfast, I noticed
    	T.K. sitting in front of his water dish.  Wondering if
    	he was trying to fish a beer cap out of the dish, I peeked
    	over and found out that he was drinking his water with
    	his paw!!!  (kinda like Mork From Ork) 
    
    	I don't know why T.K. felt he had to drink his water with
    	his paw!!  He could have just as easily used his mouth!
    
    	What a cutie!

	Studies have indicated that some cats eat and/or drink this way due to the small size of thier bowls. Seems a dish should be large enough to also accomodate a cats whiskers. Personally I think some cats just enjoy being different. You might try the bowl trick if your cat seems bothered. MaryAnne MacDonald Pet Sense

	My cat will not drink form a bowl. He will only drink from a faucet if we are home. He screams from one of the bathrooms that he is thirsty and my husband or I have to go turn on the faucet for him. He has got us pretty well trained. It is real cute though! Mary

	Re: .2 Well, since I've never seen him do this before, I think that he only does it rarely. He is very inventive in coming up with new ways to entertain me. I think he was just trying to be different! But Boy was it cute!! And definately a source of amusement! I want to see him do it again! Karen

	Lightning drinks from the bathroom faucet. DejaVu and Thunder drink from the dog's bowl, never their own. Yes, they are definitely cute (and different). Sandi (Lightning's DejaVus & Thunders' mom)
