1723.0. "Two Tiger Tabbies Need Homes" by POOL::MURPHY (Is it Friday yet?) Wed Aug 31 1988 12:55

"Tigger" and "Peanut" (2 male tiger tabbies approx. 13-14 wks.
old) are each looking for a loving, permanent home. The kittens went
for their physicals, 1st series of shots as well as Felv test/1st
shot (both negative on Felv) August 25th. They were given worming
medication and Peanut (been living in the barn with his foster
mom) was sprayed for fleas. Tigger had recently been sprayed and
has a new flea collar; vet did not find fleas on him.

Both Tigger and Peanut have sweet dispositions; Tigger is kind of
laid back in personality. He gets along with everything and
everyone. His littermate, Peanut, is more aggressive but oh what a
purr-bucket he is. He just loves to be held and petted. Been
known to fall asleep in people's arms. Though littermates
originally, they were separated soon afterwards to place Peanut
with his foster mom who lives in the barn. Foster mom lost her
one and only kitten at birth and not only had an abundance of milk
to get rid of, but also fretted for her dead kitten. Peanut more than
    made up for her loss.

Since both kittens are such sweeties with a lot of love to give
(needing it in return), I'd like to see them go to nice homes if
possible. Otherwise, Tigger will end up being an "outdoor only"
cat getting food put outside a door all the time by present owner,
and Peanut living in a horse barn may not survive that long. He's
not cautious enough when under their feet and it will only take
one of those large hooves to crush him.

They are scheduled to return to the Vet's week of Sept. 19th for
2nd series of shots, including Felv and Rabies. Final shot on
Felv for 1988 will be week of December 19th. I'm taking them along
with my new kitten. Kittens are located in Londonderry, NH but
I work in Nashua so would be willing to bring them to meeting point
within or not far from those areas.

One other thing, Tigger does use a litterbox when provided. Even
though Peanut has been living in the barn, I see no reason why he
wouldn't use a litterbox also if provided for him.

If you know of anyone who'd give them a home, send me mail outside
    this note.

    Thanks
    Pat

Tigger has a home. Peanut (actually the most affectionate of the
two) still needs home (not a barn as that's where he already is).
