    My boss just informed me that he read in the paper either last
    night or the night before about an epidemic of a cat fever
    going around.  Does anyone know about it or have read it 
    themselves??  He couldn't give me too much information since
    not being a lover of animals, he didn't read on!!  I wrote
    in note 1660.13 that my chrisue was sick last night and
    thought it might be his food, but now I'm wondering.  Before
    making an appointment to the Dr., I was hoping someone might
    know the symptons or new more info!

	Why not give your vet a call and ask if they know what it is and what the symptoms are? I did that with the salmonella thing with the birds - called the vet to see what they knew about it. If one of my kids get sick, I always ask if there is a lot of stuff going around - guess it makes me feel better somehow... E.T.

	I read in the Worcester Telegram & Gazette that there is alot of distemper this year in this area.

	Thanks, I did call the vet and she said she hasn't heard anything and apparently by the amount of replies in this note no one else has either (thank goodness) and your right, it does make me feel better. I think it was his food that was making him sick and I'm going out tonight to get some new food. If he's not better by the morning, I will definately make an appointment. I will also ask my boss if he can give me the clipping of what he read about this - if he did read this and not dream it (stress can do weird things!!). If I do get the clipping, I'll let you know what it says.

	Just read .2 Didn't see this until after writing .3. Anyways just asked my boss to bring this article in and he too read it in the Worcester Gazette but he said somehow the title or something was cat fever (must be the same article). I guess I always related distemper only with dogs. Learn something new everyday!!!!
