    Of course, the note below reflects my personal opinion and not DEC's.
    
    A couple of companies are publishing "joke" animal abuse cards (i.e.,
    should this cat live? sledgehammers with puppies, etc.  I won't
    get too descriptive.)  If you
    want to write letters of protest, their addresses are below.  Recycled
    Paper Products, despite the claim on the cards that they are made
    with recycled paper, is currently mostly producing products made
    with non-recycled paper.

    Is there a particular line of cards that they do this sort of thing
    in so that we can specifically protest it i.e one company has a
    line called 76th street, another has a line of Ziggy cards that
    type of thing.

    I don't know.  I got the info from the tree House Animal Foundation's
    newsletter.  They had some cards displayed -- sledge hammer with
    puppy, chain saw with kitten, etc. -- but it wasn't clear which
    specific cards belonged to which of the two companies, as I recall.

    My, heavens!! that is disgusting what they are displaying on those

    Wish we could find out who the actual photographers of these type
    of photos that sell to the card companies are...

    The photos are juxtaposed (sp?) -- a photo of a cat and a photo
    of a chainsaw over its head, etc. -- not as grim as what you are
    picturing, but bad enough for all that.
