| I used Ovaban for a while when one of my kittys started to be a
real stinker. He would pick fights with the other kittys. This
went on for several weeks, and it was quite a nightmare.
Lots of growling, and yowling, and going for the throat, and general
tearing around the house in a big hissing ball of fur. When the
vet suggested the drug, I was skeptical. I didn't want to have
to give him a pill every day for the rest of our lives. What in
actuallity happened is that I only gave him the pill for a couple
of weeks. During that time he was such a sweetie! Then I slowly
reduced the dosage, and finally stopped all together. It seems
that during that time he forgot how to be hostile or something,
and I have not had the problem since.

| Thats funny.... I've been giving McCafferty Ovaban for a skin
condition.... seems she's allergic to fleas and thats what the vet
recommended.... I didn't know that it would be good for her demeanor,
which by the way is excellent. I only give her 1/2 a tablet maybe
once a week...
I'd certainly give it try... maybe will help with the other cats
personality, before I'd give one kitty up.
