| | Guess that's sort of like Tidy Cat cat pan liners. You slip the
bag over your cat's pan, then put the litter in it. When you change
the whole thing, all you do is pull it back over the box, and inside
out. You don't touch any do-do's or anything. And the bags are claw-
proof. Now that I have discovered them, I will never use anything
else!!! They are so much easier than anything else I know of.

| | I live in the Wash, DC area, and haven't seen the Tidy Cat cat pan
liners. Do you know of any chain stores or pet stores that carry
    that brand?

I use Hartz, and they're AWFUL! In order to keep the pan a little
cleaner, I put a newspaper in the bottom of the pan, then the liner,
then the litter. Seems to hold the moisture quite well, but the
    liner is still in shreds!

| | Tidy Cat is a national brand (Lowe's is the parent company). They
make litter as well as liners. They're in every store up here.
If you want, I can mail you one to try out. They are much thicker
than the Hartz, and seem to have some sort of odor control, but
    I can't vouch for that.

Has anyone tried the new brand of litter, Control? I found it in
my local supermarket last week, a 7 lb bag for $1.09. On first
impression, it looks OK, but has only been in the box since last
night, so the Himmy Seal of Approval has yet to be granted!

Shouldn't that be the "Himmy Seal Point of Approval"?

Funny you should ask about "Control", I tried some last week, and
after a week, it was still holding up rather well olfactory-wise.
I think we need to try it when my boys are visiting your boys, that
should stress test its powers sufficiently.

    Anyone else try "Control"?

    Mary,

I would love to try the Tidy Cat liners, but I can't find them.
When you say you have no problem finding them "up here", do you
mean New England? If so, where do you find them? I live in Marlboro,
and I'd have no problem traveling to pick up a bunch of them now
    and then.

| | The stores here in Nashua have them. I shop at Alexander's and
there are some of them down in the Lowell area. And they're on
sale this week for $.83 for a box of 4 (such a deal!). If you want,
I'll pick some up for you.

Mary (still praying for the little one)

These little box liners aren't great for all cats!!!!! I have to
Kittens, Gumby and Poky, 4 months old and they claw these bags almost
to shreds in a couple days!!! Their claws are EXTREMELY sharp.
    Believe me, I KNOW!!!

I would like to know where I can find Control Cat Litter. I can't
remember the name of the brand that I use (green bag) but I think
it is time to try another kind. The litter box has to be changed
too often (every two or three days) or it smells. I HATE DOING
THIS!! Does Control work good? Any suggestions on "How to keep
the litter box staying fresh for over 3 day" are very much appreciated.
