| | The Pedley's are highly recommended. Good natured healthy cats.

Is Starlee (sp?) in Stoneham (?) still breeding Coons?

If you don't want to pay for a purebreed, Lori Hogland in Thorndike,
ME (207) 568-3627 has Coons "out in the barn" with a litter for
    sale on occasion.

Have no fear in dealing with a reputable breeder, such as the DECies
in earlier notes, living in Tenn., Texas, etc. The procedure for
shipping kittens by air to new owners is very common and usually
    trouble-free.

Copy is 1.5 years old and still growing. He's very independent
now that he has a cat door and can come and go at any hour. I've
finally got him off the canned stuff and onto straight Science Diet
dry. Should he have some canned stuff on occasion? - Chris

| | I also recommend the Pedley's. I know Carol personally, she has
very nice cats. She is also a CFF judge.

| | There will be a cat show hosted by the Downeast Cat Club & United
Maine Coon Cat Assoc. in Portland, Maine on Saturday, April 18th.

I suspect there will be a goodly number of Maine Coons and their
    breeders at this show.

I'm showing two household pets (pests?) at that show. Having a definite
weakness for Maine Coons, I've been practicing:

"I do not need another cat, I do not need another cat, I do not
    need another cat..."

    What are the odds?

and Patricia Zanca in Hudson, MA? I admired her cats in a show some
time ago.

I was there about a month ago. They have 23 cats in all (all
Maine Coons). At that time they had 5 or 6 adults that they
would place in a good home for about $50 each. Their kittens
sell for $300 each for pet quality. Many of their cats are
"Champions".
Hope this helps.
