    hello,

i've tried a lot to get ms access use parameters / input prompts
in pass through sql queries. the ones that really get executed on the
    server :-)
however all my efforts failed miserably ...
    questions:
    1) is it possible to create pass through queries with parameters
or input fields at all ??
    2) anybody out there having an example handy for me ?

    thanx for you help
    ulrich

| It is possible to use parameters if you compose your query in VBA using qdf.Connect = "some_connect_string" qdf.SQL = "Select " & this & " FROM " & that & " WHERE " & we_agree & ";" qdf.Execute I'm not sure of you can do it with parameters on a ready made query in the query tab of the database.
