I'm currently working on a Year2000 assessment project for the Dutch ABN-AMRO bank. As part of the assessment of the application VIA/EB (EB=electronic Banking) the Year 2000 compliancy status of the "modified standard" product FTP has to be investigated. Deliberate I wrote "modified standard" because they use the sources of a product called FTP which they got from Digital. They modified those sources as part of the project (not much they told me). I have a few questions concerning above product FTP and the Year2000 compliancy? 1. Is FTP a separate product with a for example a version-nr or is it part of another product for example UCX? 2. Who supports FTP and in what way can I communicate to those people? 3. Is something known about the Year 2000 compliancy of FTP or UCX? Which version is compliant? Any other information which related to above topic is welcome. Geert Dirks Digital Holland
