5377.0. "attachments not converted" by MARIN::CONNOR () Tue Mar 25 1997 21:04
 Hello,

    I have the following setup:

    Digital TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS Alpha Version V4.1 - ECO Level 4
      on a DEC 3000 Model 400 running OpenVMS V6.1

    (LNM$SYSTEM_TABLE)

      "UCX$POP_PERSONAL_NAME" = "1"

When i attach a .jpg or .doc file from my Eudora-PRO POP3 client and send
    in a mail msg to the
    POP server, the attached file is not converted to an icon. When i
    was using a Unix host (Not sure what flavor) as the POP server, i was
    able to get the
    attachment, double-click on it, and bring up netscape or iexplorer or
    MS WordNT and display the document.

    Is this possible with POP on VMS? I get the file, but no conversion.

    	-steve C.
