Some time ago we did some experimentation with the PUSH bit. Under UCX
doing a SHO CONFIG PROT reveals the state of the PUSH SEND and RECEIVE
settings for TCP. These are normally disabled. If the PUSH bit is
enabled much better throughput is obtained through Pathworks over
TCP/IP. Unfortunately this has a disastrous affect on TELNET
performance.
Are there methods within UCX to ensure that the PUSH bits are negoiated
on Pathworks connections?
