I'm note sure of what the problem is, exactly.
The `server returned extended information' could possibly be related to
a LIST bug where the output is returned in records terminated with \n
and not \r\n, as the TELNET/FTP standard expects.
I suggest that you submit an IPMT with as much information as you can
gather. That will help us (probably me) to diagnose the problem more
quickly.

I have a similar problem (reported in 5036), although I do not get the
accvio.
