| 4904.1 | UCX$FINGER_SHUTDOWN purges all logs, not just ucx | UCXAXP::DOUB | Sun Nov 24 1996 13:58 | 5 | |

Ben,
Where/what is the fix? Do you want us to change the
ucx$finger_shutdown.com to delete the purge statement, or just change
the wildcard purge to ucx*.log?
Thanks

There is more to this than just the FINGER command procedure.
Last week we checked this out and found two more command procedures
which are doing this. The problem occurred because of changes made to
the way UCX services are started. The file which used to execute in
the component's directory is now running in SYS$MANAGER:, resulting in
the purged files.
The command procedures are being corrected (if they have not already
been addressed by Ben).
