Hi, I have a doubt to use ROR 6.0 with RDB v7.0. I have a local node 'A' with ROR 6.0/Rdb 6.1 and a remote node 'B' with Rdb 7.0. Can I transfer information from node 'A' to node 'B'? Does it work well?. Thanks...Pedro

    Pedro,

I don't remember if we ever tested transfers from Rdb 6.0 to Rdb 7.0.
I can't think of a reason why that should not work. However, make sure
that you get ROR 6.0-11, the version shipping from Oracle. Earlier
versions, such as, DEC Data Distributor 6.0-0, do not work with Rdb
7.0. That's because Rdb changed its name from DEC Rdb to Oracle Rdb.
Version 6.0-11 of ROR knows about the change.

    Claude
