I am sorry if this has been discussed before, I search with prot, pass
and access to no avail.
Do we yet have object protection in the logical db?
In DBI you import a table and create a view on that table. How can you
achieve that users only have access to the view in the logical database
but not to the table itself (other than create the view already in the
link db)?
I have looked into passthrough but that's only valid for tables, you
can't create a view pass through, can you?
Thanks for any hint,
Regina

When will YET be?
I saw notes from some years ago where we were thinking of including
this in the after 3.1 timeframe. To engineering: Would a QAR help to
advance things? (yes, this is a big customer).
Thanks,
Regina
