Hi, I've a customer who would like to integrate some information with RDB and DB2/400 (AS/400). Forgive me if my questions are so ignorant, but I know nothing about Transparent Gateway to DB2/400 on AS400, so... My questions are: 1) Does RTG to DB2 work with AS/400? If no, what software I need on AS400 and on OpenVMS? Do I need some software from IBM? 2) What is Sequelink for DB/400? Thanks in advance. Pedro

No.
2) What is Sequelink for DB/400?
Not an option. Sequelink was sold to Intersolve and they have dropped
VMS as a client platform . We have dropped our Sequelink gateway.
We did have a customer look at using the rdb trans gwy to o7 to
the ora trans gwy to db/400 as a solution. i wouldn't expect 'speed'.
Sorry for the lack of a clear solution.
