    Hi,
    
    customer has a lot of DEC Datatrieve procedures/reports and is
    currently replacing their Oracle Rdb databases with Oracle7 db.
    
    Is it possible to continue using these Datatrieve procedures accessing
    the O7 db ?
    If yes, is this achieved by using the Oracle Rdb Gtwy for Oracle7 only or
    is distributed option (former DBI) required as well ?

    You should beware though - there have been problems using datatrieve
    with Oracle gateway in a few different contexts - some places I think
    where dbkey size has been an issue, other places where nulls have
    caused problems.

Would it be possible for you to tell us who this customer is including
a contact name and phone number?  We're alway interested in finding out
more about customers who are migrating from Rdb to Oracle.
