    I'm trying to find out if Techgnosis ever released the DBI Gateway for
    DB400 with direct TCP/IP support. Last year they were on beta test, but 
    this was last year ...

    Not yet. we suggest you look at the Oracle transparent gateway to
    db400.
    you would use the Rdb transparent gateway to 'sqlnet' to it.
