I have downloaded the Office 97 suite from two different locations
and both installs resulted in WinWord starting "Document1" with no
toolbar and no button bars.
I cannot pull down the FILE menu because it isn't there - etc etc.
I cannot select the B or I or U buttons because they are not there -
etc etc etc. At the top of the screen is a horizontal ruler and
nothing else.
Excel seems to work as it should. I have not tried the other apps.
Any ideas?
