    	I realize this is difficult for most people since it's the
    	weekend but for those who don't know, Jim Whitman's father
    	passed away last night.  I know he's had very serious heart
    	problems for quite some time.
    
    	I'm planning on sending flowers if anyone would like to chip
    	in to the cost.  Unfortunately there's not much time to put
    	something together since the funeral is Monday and it's the
    	weekend, etc.  If you have a DCU account you can transfer any
    	mone you'd like to chip in to my Share 4 Account.  My badge
    	is 304977.
    
    	For those who wish to attend - the funeral is Monday at the
    	Sullivan-Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln St., with a
    	service at 10:00am at First Baptist Church at Monument Square.
    
    	Calling hours are Sunday from 3:00-7:00pm at the funeral home.

	Oh... Also. For those who don't have DCU Accounts, you can send me mail with the amount you'd like to chip in and then send a check US Postal Mail later on (or stop by MR1-1/pole KL26) to get the money to me. Having no idea how many people will respond I will get flowers and if there is extra money it can be donated to a worthwhile cause - American Heart Association perhaps, in the Whitman family name. 	I talked to Jim this afternoon and he asked me to post a thank you note for the flowers. He said it was totally unexpected. He sounded ok, tired obviously, but he seemed to be holding his own at least while I was talking to him. JJ
