| I have the CD and think there are quite a few songs on the
disk that are better than Got No Shame. The Band is out of
Birmingham, Alabama. They should be touring the Eastern US
within a couple of months. They are also in the process of
releasing a couple more singles.
They have a Video out for Got No Shame, but have been getting
the Shaft from MTV. The single has been in Billboards top 20
for quite some time, but the execs at MTV want to see even more
interest before they start playing the Video.

Well, it's kind of official, but hasn't been officially announced
by WAAF, but the Brother Cane and Farren will be the two bands
performing at the WAAF Beach Party. So, where will it be held ???
At the Best Western Royal Plaza Convention Center in Marlboro, MA.
Last time there, it was held in the Hotel, this time, it'll be in
the Convention Center cause it's much bigger. They're talking
about 2 thousand people capacity there. How do I know this ???
Cause I'll be bartending that event.
That's all the info I have...........................for now.

I accepted. At that time I knew where and when it was going to
be held, but didn't know who was playing till a couple of days
later. I'll be at one of the bars, not sure which tho. You'll
have to come find me. There's going to be 12 bartenders working.

So, who ended up going ??? The place had close to 2000 in
it. I was busy ALL NIGHT slinging drinks and pouring draft
beer, but I did have time to take a short break to listen to
the music.
Between working and listening:
Farren was great !!!!!
Brother Cain was great !!!
They had some knockout, gorgeous girls for the contest. They
also had a limbo contest.
I'm tired and DON'T want to be here today !!!

| I was there last night for WAAF festivities (Sorry BJub for not asking.)
The place was definately better suited for a concert type atmosphere
than 2 years ago. Decibel range was set to maximum. Farren
performed well as usual. I only stayed for 1/2 of Brother Cane set.
There was a petition being signed to Warner Bros. for them to
re-release the Farrenheit CD. Drinks were far to high in price for
a party of this magnitude. $2.75 for Coors Lt. $3.00 for Zima and $4.00
for Castlemaine (import beer). Shouldn't complain too much since the
price of admission was FREE!!

| I also attended the show. Had an outstanding time. My best friend
and his wife flew out for the show. Jim engineered and produced the
album. I met Damon before the show and had my picture taken with
him and Jim. It was my wifes birthday so we put her in the limo
when the band went from the Hotel to the Trade Center. We also
totally embarassed her back stage after the show. We had the band
all to ourselves and we all sang Happy Birthday to her. They are
a great bunch of guys.
They took the time and personally autographed a Band photo for my
two boys. Yesterday was a day from hell however, after they kicked
us out of the Trade Center we went back to one of their Hotel
rooms, then to the tour bus and finally headed home around 2:30.

| I was talking to my buddy who Produced and Engineered the first
album. The record company did not want to use him for this album
because they wanted to go with a more "Alternative" type sound.
I tired of hearing this Alternative BS. What's wrong with a Kick
A$% Rock and Roll sound. I guess it just doesn't sell as well
without the Alternative Label. Jim mentioned BCN won't be playing
the new single because it's not Alternative enough! for their
suppossed new format.
Oh well, I will be at the show anyway!!!

| I just got of the phone with their Tour manager, Brother Cane will
be doing a Chatline on America Online tonight. 9:30-10:30 ??? You
would want to confirm as I wasn't to concerned.. They will be
playing the Conan O'Brien show Tomorrow night.
As mentioned in another note, they will be at The Strand this
Thursday. The Strand says the Nixon's are on first. I was just
talking with the Nixon's at Mama Kin, and they where heading
back home. Maybe they changed their minds????

at a state fair for violating the hall's anti-vulagrity clause in their
