| | Probably Heart. Oh you wanted "grunge", not "Seattle based", right?

    I'd guess either Nirvana or Pearl Jam, probably the latter, but I don't
    have any numbers.

| | Possibly Soundgarden, since they were popular before Nirvana was born.

    	Soundgarden was around first, but they apparently didn't get
    	the exposure that Nirvana got.

    	I'd say Nirvana all the way.

| 962.4 | My best guess would be Pearl Jam, several hits | GOES11::G_HOUSE | Son of Spam | Thu Jul 22 1993 21:39 | 5 |
| | I'd seriously doubt it's Soundgarden. Yeah, they were around for quite
    awhile, but they didn't sell hardly any records until BadMotorFinger
    and I don't think it did as well as Nevermind did for Nirvana.

    Heart must be number 1.

    #2 Not Pearl Jam, or Soundgarden, or Nirvana

    It must be Queensryche!!!

| | Actually, I would say the #1 selling artist from Seattle is Jimi Hendrix....
