Um, yeah... I guess. I haven't seen her, just heard her, so I can't
comment on her "babe" status. She sounds good, the comparison to
Rod Stewart was not meant to be a slam... she's just got that gravelly
Rod-like voice.

Re: Rod Stewart. Yeah, he's been great for much of his career. He's got a
really powerful voice. I just wish that so much of his material wasn't so
smarmy. I think that his really old stuff roolz. His more recent stuff
droolz.

| Well Kev, I agree Rod's recent material pales in comarison to his real
old stuff (Faces, etc.), but some of Rod's newer stuff is pretty darn
cool, still, if you ask me.

| I finally heard Sass Jordan this past weekend while hanging in
Hotlanta. Impressions? Predy cool...she reminded me of a modern
Janis.

She's a Madonna look-a-like. You guys should like her.
Remember a long time ago a song by a blonde who's name elludes me
called "Betty Davis Eyes"? She reminds me of that singer. Honestly
didn't know I was hearing a female first time I heard her. But I
wouldn't go so far as to compare her to Rot Stewart.
Actually, some of the songs on "Racine" aren't too bad. Lasted me
about 4 days.

speaking from a male perspective?) Madonna is a MM lookalike and lots
of guys are impressed with MM. Sass' looks (to me, anyway)
=Madonna=MM.
But Sass does sound like Kim as opposed to Stewart, IMO.

| I *think* I saw Sass on Dennis Miller show not long ago, and I thought
they were "OK". If I'm not mistaken, I didn't think she looked
anything like Madonna at all. Isn't she a tall, long haired blond?
I thought she was more like Kim Bassinger.

No, that would be Jennifer Batton. Absolutely amazing guitarist!
Sass Jordan is a singer in the light pop vein. Pretty nondescript in
terms of vocal abilities in my book.
