      Hello H/M fans!
    
       This is to let you know about a group called "Torn Lace"!.
    
     It's a four member band from Spartanburg, S.C. This doesn't mean
    that they play Southern Fried music either! They have played all
    along the East coast for about two years now.
    
      They were in Orlando doing a gig, and a Promoter from Capitol
    records had them on a plane right after the show to New York to
    sign all the nessasary contracts to start recording.
    
      I will get a list of all the songs that they plan to record and
    pass them on to you guys! Hope you enjoy them.
    
      Keep on the look-out for "Torn Lace"!.

    	Torn Lace, huh?!?  Are these heavy rockers guys or girls??
    	Sounds like the name for an all female band...
    
    	Yea!!  Let us know!  My girlfriend lives just outside of
    	Orlando now and used to live in Newberry, not too far from
    	Spartanburg!

      Tigga~~~,
                Torn Lace is an all Guy Heavy Metal band. I know the
    name sounds a little "sissy". But I assure you the music is not.
    
       They've been n Orlando for quite a while now at a local club
    down there. I can't remember the name(sorry)!. Hopefully, Torn Lace
    will have their debute album out by Christmas, but I doubt it!
    
      Anyway, keep an eye and ear out for them!

    What kind of metal do these guys play?  Who are their biggest

     jab,
          Torn Lace was influenced by the likes of early Aerosmith,
    Dokken,Whitesnake,early Kiss,Randy Rhodes style of playing/Oz tunes,
    but now they mostly do their own stuff. Some of the tunes are Squeeze
    Me, Tease Me. And Sunset Blues!
         They stick mostly to these type of Metal sounds, but do also
    some "speed" metal. Like Megadeth and Metallica!
    
         As soon as they get back to Spartanburg, I'll get in touch
    with them and find out some more info on the songs they plan to
    record.

    For you who live in upstate S.C, WCKN is going to air a show Sunday
    night at 9:00 p.m. featuring local bands between Atlanta and Charlotte.
    
    This Sunday includes two songs from Torn Lace. I don't know which songs
    there going to play, but there's one old, and one new tune.
    
    
    R-N-R, here's your chance to get some air-play! Try it out!
