| | Sorry Mate, I heard the album a coupla weeks back and didn't really
like it - although I agree that the guitar sound is good.

| | I seen this lot in concert about 2 years ago. The one thing that
sticks in my mind is the vocalist asking the crowd if they thought
that he was a "F****** A$$hole". The Crowd said "YEAH, now F***
    Off".

I left at that point, but was told that they didn't get any better.

I bought the album the other day, and I reckon it's pretty good.
The singer sounds a bit like a weak Dave Lee Roth, music's in the
same vein as well, but it's still worth a listen - could be because
Rick Rubin manages to make almost any band sound good! *

MANHUNT,but I LIKE IT HOT was nearly as good. The lead singer Blaze
    Bayley is a total spaz.....

| | well on monday I bought the new album called "down fall the good
guys".Its definately an musical/lyric/production improvement on their
debut Live fast/die fast(which I thought would be hard to do)and shows
the band as maturing(?).This band has been compared to old VH,so
wether that is a plus or a minus is purely personal thing but for
    me,its a mega plus!Two songs spring to mind after 1 listen,"Cathode ray
clinic" about how crap tv is.In this one the lead singer does an
excellant impersonation of a Nothern Englandn quiz show host. And the
2nd is the last song on side two.Its like country/metal,the guitarist
plays like a country player while the rest of the band pummel out a
brilliant backbeat. If Zakk WIlde is going to start a country rock band
it may be a good idea for him to call these guys!
All in all a damn fine album and wroth checking out!

the gig guide and what do I see, none other than my most favourite band
to come out of Tamworth playing in Glasgow when I'm away on holiday!
What a bunch of cheeky wee monkies!Looks like I'll need to wait 'til
next time they tour to catch them!Bugger!!!

| | I bought Wolfbanes last cd before Blaze buggered off and joined Iron
Maiden and I'm a little disappointed, its just not up to their standard
of the "down fall the good guys" era. There are some good songs on there
but there are a few fillers too.The good thing about the cd is there is
a free cd with extra tracks on it,including a utterly crap version of
"Born to run" but there is a brilliant cover of an old Anti Nowhere
League song(that I cant remember just now).Either way its kinda sad to
see them drop their standards for the last album.
