Jim, I know we have talked before over the tube of this band,
and yes I remember them well. I saw them with Robin Trower about
8 or 9 years ago. They were a great band and a great live band
also. I have their 1st album, is that the only one that they put
    out?

I believe they have five albums out altogether. The first four ('Shooting
Star', 'Hang On For Your Life', 'Three Wishes', and one other) were
on CBS Records. They also released an album about two years ago on
Geffen, but it didn't do anything.
Speaking of albums - Jim (Tama) - you still got my Shooting Star LPs?
Haven't you taped them yet? 8^)

| 279.7 | new stuff? | HAZEL::STARR | You'll find love again, I know... | Mon Oct 30 1989 15:00 | 7 |
| | I heard a new Shooting Star song on WAAF the other day. Sounded more like
today's pop/metal bands than their old stuff, but it as still good to hear
that guy's voice (I always liked it).
Anyone know if they have a new album out or not?

| | Shooting Star has a 'greatest hits' package our on Enigma Records (distibuted
via Capitol). It has 4 songs from the first album, including "Last Chance",
and four from the second, "Flesh and Blood", Hollywood", and "Breakout", and
"Hang On For Your Life". The other songs (there are 15 in all) are spread over
their other 3 albums, a previously unreleased Christmas song, and a new song
that was recorded earlier this year.
It's great to hear them on CD!!!
