Well, I heard 'Playing Dirty' on a "Metal Shop" a couple years
ago, and kinda like it so I bought 'Hit and Run' out of a dis-
    count bin at Strawberries.
I dug it out again this morning and was anything but impressed:
the lead singer is OK, and definitely British - but nothing in-
    credible. The guitarist is OK.
It's hard to describe, but they don't make me wanna start a fan
club or anything. Their song titles are pretty good, but they
could do more with them if they wanted:

    Hit and Run
Yeah Right (complete waste of time ... useless to even try)

Oh, I can't remember any more ... as if it matters.
Anyone else think differently, or able to recommend another one
of their albums that is better than this one?
                                                       GTI

I kinda liked that album but a better look at them would be
Screaming Blue Murder the first three songs of side one are
good. The funny thing about this band is that they have a very
light metal sound but they used to hang out alot with Motorhead.

        Pete:

Thank you for that insightful commentary. 8^)

I think I'll check out 'Screaming (whatever)' and
               see how it sounds.

| Chris Bonacci (guitarist) has left Girlschool after 6 years with the outfit....she sez she's fed up with doing the same old thing and would ratehr be in a band that plays in a rehersal studio rather than a pub! (Snob! -Flip) | |||||
