I just picked up a great cd called Shuggie Otis Plays The Blues.
This was recorded in 1969 when Shuggie was just 15 years old.
Does anyone know what became of him?

I used to now a 'Shuggie' about that time here in England. Well
respected guitar player from Scotland on the folk/folk-blues circuit.
    Not him I suppose?

| No, he wasn't Scottish. His father was Johnny Otis of R&B fame.
Al Cooper also featured Shuggie on one of his albums from around the
    same time period. Great playing.

| Geez I've been waiting for someone to respond to this note with some
updated info. Anyone who has not heard him, I strongly urge you to
pick up his cd. It was reviewed probably about six months ago in Guitar
    Player.
