    Since there were lots of "Teacher" notes (instead of one central one),
    I thought I'd create a new note.
    
    I'm trying to help 2 friends find a teacher.  They're both beginners,
    they bought guitars'n'amps about a month ago.  They're in the Gardner,
    MASS area.  One wants to learn "pop, country" the other is more into
    hard rock and HM.  
    
    Can anyone here suggest teachers in their area?

	I've just started taking lessons from Mark Connors in Gardner. He is a degreed instructor and a very good musician in his own right. I pay $9 an half hour, The best $9 dollars I spent in a long time. Can you give the name of the two X-DECies? I like to see if they would like to to a little jamin at some time, since we are all just starting out. 	I highly recommend Ted Mariani at Acton Music. This guy is an amazing player ( does everything from shreddin' to country pickin') and has been teaching for many years. /Billy_K

If you're going to go to Acton Music, I would recommend Steve Glass over Ted. Why? Basically, Steve is a better player, and really knows how to improve his students.
