Could somebody tell me the general output impedance of guitar pre-amp
and input impedance of power-amp?? There is no descriptions about them
on their manuals without a Rocktron GAP.
I have four pre amps and 2ch speaker simulater for home recording. I'm
now using a patchbay for connecting the output of pre amps to speaker
simulater. It means it allows me to use the two pre amps at the same
time. So I've been trying to make my own pre-amp mixer which is
4in-2out to add more flexibility.

Guitar preamps are anywhere from 500kohm to several mega ohm for
the i/p impedance. The higher the better because they load the pickups
less, the tradeoff is less noise imunity at higher impedances.
Poweramps tend to be in the 1k to 10k ohm range, although the
balanced input connectors should be 600 ohm by dbm spec.
This is what I have seen out there though not all inclusive.
