2699.0. "Roger Guitars" by SAHQ::ROSENKRANZ (Rock with Gene & Eddy) Tue Mar 30 1993 11:37
There apparently was a line of guitars built in Germany with the brand
name "Roger". As I understand it, the Roger line was produced by the
father of Roger Rosmeisel (sp?) who did design work both for Fender and
Rickenbacker. Apparently the line was named for his son.

The guitars produced, I believe were arch tops. The had the cat's eye
sound holes reminiscient of Gretsch synchromatics and RIC capris.

Does anyone know anything about these guitars? Were they of good
quality? How may were produced? Were they popular? Are they well
known in Europe? What different types were produced? During what
    years did the company exist?
