Active Electronics, Woburn, Mass with stores across the US and
Canada.
1 - 800 - 677 - 8899.
Excellent service from them and free catalogue of electronic
components, tools etc. They take Mastercard, Visa and Amex.
I had bought a mint used (1988) Carvin SX 100 amplifier which
would not switch the effect loop off (it was stuck on). Traced
the problem to the hex inverter driver, a CMOS 4049 chip.
Radio Shack no longer carry it. Called Carvin and asked for
price - $5.00 for the chip. Called Active - $0.30 apiece,
quantity 3.
