I found an interesting piece of software called "Guitar Wizard".
It is marketed by a company called Baudville. Guitar Wizard
is a handy piece of reference software for guitarists who
want to look up chords and scales and improvise
on different places on the fretboard. Also, it does a direct
correlation between chords and recommended scales to play
over each chord.
Guitar Wizard can be accessed through one or more of the
following windows:
1. Fretboard Wizard
2. Chord Wizard
3. Scale Wizard
4. Improvisation Wizard
At $39 including shipping and handling it's a nice piece of
software for a guitarist that owns a Macintosh.
