    While it will not look "original", you will be better off in the
    long run with new tuners.  The original tuners are quite poor at
    holding the instrument in tune.
    
    You might also check for old Silvertone amps.  My guitar and amp use
    the same knobs.  The amp's were in better shape, so I swapped them.

|  |     If you need a vintage style tuner, Stewart McD's has some in the
    latest catalog that look to be every bit as cheezy as the originals

|  |     you dont need the stock pots--who'll ever know!!Any 100k audio taper
    pot should do the trick and won't detract from the value(?)of the
    instrument.
