Does anyone have an address or telephone number for WD Pickgards
(supposidly out in California somewhere)?
I'm looking to replace the pickguard in my lead 1 (and the pickups
etc.)

Dave,
I got a new guard for my Tele-Deluxe from them. It's not that
common and it took them 3 times to get it right. The last time
I sent out a photo-copy of the guard. The one they sent me fit
perfect. They're located in Farmingdale NY. The Phone # is;

Also try Angela's Intruments in Maryland. Thier # is (301)725-0451.
They had 2 Fender Humbuckers for the Deluxe in house. I could not
find them anywhere else. Oh yeah, look at note 424 for another discount
Fender parts place. Hope this helps.

Sounds good to me..I was also toying with the idea of gettng a new
one for my tele thinline, sized for gibson style humbucker and a
singel coil in the back....
