821.0. "ODD TUNINGS INFO EXCHANGE" by WELMTS::GREENB (who is no 1? You are, no 6) Mon Sep 05 1988 08:40
I want to find out more about open tunings, odd tunings etc.
    I already use some - open D, open G, D modal (DADGAD)
drop D, open C, DADGBD, CGDGBE, G modal (DGDGCD) - sometimes I tune
the thin one of each pair on a 12 string to a fifth instead of an
octave (usually only the bottom 2 pairs)
Does anyone out there know of any other useful/useable tunings?
    Thanks in advance

    Bob

| | If you look through the directory, I am sure you will find some
existing notes about alternative tunings, especially under the
various talks about slide guitar and dobro.
