41.0. "Vietnamese banjo" by KRYPTN::JASNIEWSKI () Sun Aug 24 1986 12:35

    	Whie at the Flea this weekend I picked up (besides the two track
    R to R for $15) what was claimed as a Vietnamese instrument. It
    is very ornate, obviously hand carved, and has 4 strings. The unique
    thing about it was that the frets are about 1/2" above the board,
    giving it a "sitar" like string bending ability. Sounds like a Banjo.
    Its made out of teak or something. $10 - what a Baaargain!
